Cherry Smoothie Bowl With Coconut Yogurt

 

 

There's nothing like cold food in the summer. I live in Tennessee, and summers here get impossibly hot and humid. It's a battle to survive. Enter: the smoothie bowl. Frozen food is my ultimate go-to during these hot months. Smoothies and smoothie bowls, "nice cream", you name it.

 If you haven't tried my other smoothies bowls, like the dragonfruitraspberry + acaicacao, banana blueberry, or acai, you should! But not before you try this one. Like all my recipes, it's simple and amazing! (Right?!)

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen bananas, sliced
  • 1/4 C fresh or frozen cherries
  • splash of coconut milk
  • 2 TB coconut yogurt
  • Few ice cubes (optional)
  • 1 TB flaxseed or chia

Directions

  1. Add coconut milk and yogurt to the blender, followed by the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with more fresh cherries.
