Chocolate, Almond Butter, & Hemp Protein Bites

Ok, yet another energy bite recipe. I've got a lot of these on my site. I'm kind of a fan, if you haven't guessed. But for someone on the constant move, they're just so darn convenient! You could make these into bars if you wanted, but balls are a lot easier to form in my opinion. If you're as big a fan of these as I am, check out my other recipes:

lemon + chia

peanut butter + cacao

maple and tahini

peanut butter protein

10-12 protein bites


  • 2 C walnuts or pecans
  • 1 C dates
  • 2 TB almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 TB hemp seeds
  • 3 TB cacao powder
  • dash of salt


  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and pulse until well combined.
  2. Shape into balls with your hands, and store in the refrigerator to firm up. I recommend keeping them in the fridge to make them last longer.
